This is a mediocre recreation center. It has the normal basketball courts, workout rooms, aquatics (recreation swimming and swim lesson), early childhood/OST and a game room. The facility is on a older side compared to some of the other recreation centers. If you have a question make sure you actually speak with someone in that department. For example if you have an Aquatics related question talk to someone directly in Aquatics and not just take the word of the front desk. People in front desk tend to know the general knowledge things but not any in-depth of any of the specific department. One prime example is it was raining and thundering so I called to see if swim class was canceled. I was told by a lady at front desk there was no chance of the students going into the water just learning water safety in the classroom. But we showed up and the swim instructors was saying there was still chance of going into the water if it stop thundering. There was only a 10 minute delay in class but it resumed. Unfortunately, we showed up not wearing the appropriate swim attire due to information from front desk that going to into water was not happening. Furthermore there was not sufficient t

Princess Ann Rec Center is a great place to get a great workout whether it be in the gym, pool or group classes. The price is so affordable and the staff are amazing.

This rec center has been a disappointing experience. I was told my small sling bag holding my wallet / keys was a “security risk,” which makes no sense given how little it could actually hold. There’s no possible way I could start loading it up with their dumbbells, even if I wanted to. The staff member who approached me about it was unnecessarily rude. I had already been waiting a long time for a bench in the free weights area, where groups of high schoolers were just standing around and chatting instead of working out. Ironically, the same staff member was chitchatting with them, yet singled me out as soon as I finally got a bench, approaching me and demanding I put my sling in the women’s lockers. I explained that many of the lockers don’t have working locks, and I don’t feel comfortable leaving my things unsecured. Plus, no one wants to juggle wrist straps, a weightlifting belt, and other gear in their hands while trying to train. This is the only rec center that has ever targeted me for carrying a tiny sling bag, and I will not be returning. Definitely would not recommend..

If you live nearby, I highly recommend getting the membership and USING IT. There are many perks for coming here. I came in for the day pass because I live in Las vegas. $10 for non residents or $8 for locals. This place is one of the nicest rec centers I've ever visited. An olympic size pool with lockers (quarters needed), hooks for towels and bags, and locker rooms for changing. There is a gym full of nice equipment. Basketball courts (indoors). A snack room with vending machines. And very nice staff to give information whenever you need help.

This is a very nice recreation center. There is a huge game room with table games like two and four player Air Hockey tables, billiards tables, skeet ball, classics like Pac & Ms. Pac-Man and much more. Ther is also a basketball game similar to those that one might find at a carnival where you try to get the high score for most baskets made. There is not, however a basketball ball court. There are also rooms that can be used for group meetings and the like.
